How to Bid on ClearCycle Auctions

How to Bid and Buy

Buying at auction is a very easy process and can be a lot of fun too! Simply register as a buyer to start bidding our lots. If you need advice on any lot in our sales, please do not hesitate to contact us and we will be happy to comment to the best of our ability on condition, value, quality or any other enquiry. We encourage all our bidders to become regular website users and are only too happy to assist in anyway we we can.

If you have not bought from us before, or need more details, get in touch with the Auction and Trade Team by emailing trade@clearcycle.co.uk

Who can bid?

You must be in the UK and a registered user of the store to place a bid on any of our lots.

Can I view?

Viewings take place every Thursday from 9 - 11am, we are sorry that we are currently unable to accommodate any viewings outside of this period.

How do I pay?

We offer secure online payments at our website and require that purchases are fully paid within two workings days of auction completion - unpaid orders will be cancelled automatically when two working days has expired (for Thursday auctions, this is Monday night). We will soon be offering payment by card on collection.

Do you deliver?

We don't and all sales are on the basis of collection only however, we welcome parcel service providers and pallet couriers at our warehouse in Golborne. For larger orders, we can recommend the services of Andrew Porter or John K Phillips both of whom offer competitive rates and an experienced professional service.

When can I collect?

Collection days for auction sales are every Friday and Monday. We can offer booking slots for larger orders on other days however, this will be by prior agreement only and should be discussed with us before bidding on any lots.

Can I collection Auction and Trade purchases at the same time?

Yes. Trade buyers can arrange to collect Auction buys when booking a trade collection slot, when you book please tell us which order numbers you would like to collect.

What else do I need to know?

Don’t forget, just like when you’re in an auction room, bidding online is a contractual commitment to buy.

When you bid in an auction, there is no right of return, unless an item is materially different to its catalogued description.

We recommend you find out all you can about an item’s condition before you bid. To make it really easy for you, you can send us a message right here at our website by visiting the Contact Us page.
